If you bump into some sort of giant, while strolling out in search of hidden glimpses, intensely coloured blossomed flowers, views of Lake Garda you have never enjoyed before, don’t be scared. It’s a gentle one! Or better, it’s one of of the FCBayern Basketball Team players working at the summer training camp on the lake shores! That’s right, the players of the famous Bavarian team will spend a week in Garda Trentino, from the 21st to the 26th of August 2016, before the beginning of the new 2016/2017 season scheduled to start at the beginning of October. With your support, FC Bayern Basketball team needs to stay mentally focused as much as they can before the return in Bundesliga!
Following the example of the great football champions who have decided to train their body and soul on Lake Garda shores in recent years, even the “giant” team will spend an important moment of their physical training here by us. Already last year the white-and-red champions decided to arrange their summer training camp here in Riva del Garda, where the hospitality was warm and the location perfect, according to what the coach said! And now, they will be here again, an event that makes the enthusiasts joyful (and the women as well, because they can admire these great athletes from the bottom to the top, it has to be said!) We are ready to get into their slam dunks! Who knows if the champions let themselves be tempted by the other sports you can practice on Lake Garda shores! From sailing to windsurfing, from biking to mountain hiking! I’m pretty sure our giants will call out on… other activities!
And please, don’t assume these athletes will be totally committed only to their training sessions! A first test match is also lined up during the training camp, a not-to-be-missed opportunity for those basket enthusiasts who want to live the most eagerly-awaited preseason exhibition together with the German runner-up team. This game will take place on the 25th of August at the Palagarda sports arena against the Dolomiti Energia Trento team (key team in the last season either in Italy and Europe). My intention is precisely to follow them step by step and, talking about feet, I’ll quickly go and buy a pair of high heels, I think I’ll need them!
