#Get lost in the botanical garden Arboreto di Arco. This wonderful garden in central European style is part of the Archduke Park, a project by the Archduke Alberto of Hapsburg in 1872. It was renovated in the 60’s and today we can still admire many of the great works of that time: small-scale landscaping, palm tree lined avenues, small conifer woods, a wonderful bamboo jungle, a lemon tree house and many other plant species. Take a walk in this magic garden and through its magic scents you’ll get the opportunity to make a world trip just in few hours. Don’t forget to make a stop at the turtles pond: their slowly moves will let you enjoy relax and harmony!
#Picnic in the stronghold park by Riva del Garda. April is the perfect month for outdoor picnics. Take with you some delicacies… maybe even homemade if your accommodation has cooking facilities. Don’t forget to take a cover and a hat with you.
You’ll find many cozy locations here but tasting your picnic right in the stronghold park with lake view will be a priceless experience for sure. But that’s not all: if you’re keen on history, we recommend a visit to the interesting MAG Museum where you’ll find out more about the history of this slice of paradise.
#Boat trip. April is the right month for a boat trip. Being out in the sun is really pleasant – just don’t forget to bring your scarf with you, as the wind Ora could be blowing. Now you’re ready to get on board. From Riva you can reach many towns: Torbole, Limone, Malcesine, just to mention a few. If you’d like to make the whole tour, take a half day into account. How peaceful and beautiful it is looking at the small lake towns in the distance while being cradled by the waves!
#Trekking trail to the Mountain cottage Malga San Giovanni. This is the perfect trail for a family trip to the enchanting medival village of San Giovanni. If you’re traveling with small kids, a kid backpack carrier would be ideal, but the trail is suitable for strollers, too. This wonderful trail will lead you through the wood until the Mountain cottage in just 45 minutes. Get the most of this amazing trail in April: nature waking up after a long winter, meadows covered by colorful flowers… you’ll think you’ve ended up in an impressionist painting! At the end of the trail you’ll find a holiday farm – the right place where to relax. Children can have fun at the playground equipped with inflatables and you can delight your palate with the traditional dishes from the region… what else would you ask for?
#Dust off your bicycle! April is bike month! You cannot plan your holiday without your bicycle? Then Garda Trentino is the destination you’ve been looking for. Although the bike trails are open all round the year, April is the ideal time to explore the Lake surrounding on the two wheels: days get longer, temperatures are milder and nature shows its best: forget hazy lazy April! It’s time to ride your bicycle!
